This jar is part of the Apple collection.
Thrown with Buff clay using the closed-form technique. Details for the apple are then hand-built on, and underglaze was added to give the stem and leaf colour. The inside was finished with an oat glaze while the external body was left unglazed to express the idea of shedding of the old self, a series that is followed on from the original black apple.
